Each route is prefaced with a quick-reference summary and is illustrated with a colour map. Descriptions include detailed access information while points of interest (geology, flora, fauna, history, farming and folklore) are highlighted in order to enhance the walkers’ enjoyment and appreciation of this distinctive landscape. A revised edition of the book was published in May 2014.
